Get your lean protein

Before your workout, you need to make sure that your body is filled with lean sources of protein combined with a healthy dose of carbohydrates. So where do you get your lean protein? Fish is mostly naturally low in fat, and you have a full range of options with this: you can opt for fish with white flesh such as cod, tinned white tuna, or tilapia.
